This past week we facilitated a Vision Board Workshop via Video Conferencing for Molina Healthcare.

Vision Boarding is an excellent professional development exercise because it allows team members to focus on their individual goals. According to a survey conducted by staffing firm Robert Half, “a sense of accomplishment is the strongest driver of happiness for employees under 35 years old.” Goal-setting empowers employees to be proactive in identifying their locus of control, and it encourages them to drive positive change in their lives.

The survey also found “employees who are proud of their organizations are three times more likely to be happy at work.” Facilitating team-building is one way that employers can support and contribute to employee satisfaction. So many team-building exercises focus on employer-related outcomes. This exercise allows the company to focus on employee-related outcomes. It also allows team members to find shared interests and ultimately the company can better support the individual goals of employees, while positively improving company culture.

Our framework for Vision Boarding is rooted in goal-setting and has been widely adopted by individuals as their primary goal-setting, tracking and review process for annual goals. We are available to facilitate Corporate Vision Board Sessions digitally or in person. If you are interested in bringing this workshop to your organization please e-mail us at donnie@workwithdonnie.com. You can also participate individually by registering online here.
