Writing Challenge: Nanowrimo

I first discovered Nanowrimo as a High School Teacher, and would encourage my students to participate each year by offering them extra credit if they participated in it. Nanowrimo is short for National Novel Writing Month and it takes place November 1st - November 30th. Writing has always been one of my favorite activities because:

• It allows me to get in touch with my thoughts, hopes and fears.

• It allows me to document my life and experiences.

• It allows me to connect with people in ways that I am sometimes unable to due to being an introvert.

I have decided to participate in Nanowrimo this month, which means between November 1st and November 30th, I will write 50,000 words. I have several manuscript ideas and have always wanted to publish books. You can learn more about Nanowrimo here and sign up for free on the website here.
